Yogi Adityanath meets PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah to discusses UP portfolio allocation

Today UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah in Delhi. Adityanath, who took charge as the CM on March 19, is in the national capital to discuss distribution of Cabinet portfolios with the two senior leaders.
The UP CM will also be meeting President Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj before flying back to Lucknow in the evening.
Distribution of Cabinet berths has turned out be to a headache for the newly appointed CM. Reports suggest Adityanath wants to keep the ministry with himself so as to improve his state's poor law and order. On the other hand, deputy CM and BJP's Uttar Pradesh unit chief Keshav Prasad Maurya is also said to be interested in the Home Ministry with him. A final decision in this regard is expected to be taken by BJP's leadership in Delhi.
Yogi Adityanath's jumbo 46-man Cabinet lacks administrative experience. Out of the 46 ministers, 22 have been given Cabinet rank. Out of the 22, 12 have experience of running ministries but the remaining are first timers.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will drive straight to his Rakabganj house in Delhi from the airport. Special arrangements have been made for the chief minister at his house. The house has been decorated with yellow and white flowers and a special lunch menu has also been prepared.
